Letterboxes from the nether regions

From: lesliekusz (lesliekusz@yahoo.com) | Date: 2006-02-26 21:43:47 UTC
As we've been talking about places we've seen or heard of that we could hide letterboxes,
my sister and I have been coming up with totally impossible/silly places, too. I'm guessing
that some of you have played this game as well. We've talked about placing a letterbox on
a dog or in a car...things you obviously couldn't do, but we got a good chuckle out of it.

If this is just a newbie thing, I'll shut up about it, but we've been cracking ourselves up
with some of the stuff we've come up with.

I know of at least 3 letterboxes on cars. As for dogs
not out of the realm of possibilities. You just gave
me an idea for the camp out in June.

SpaceTraveler had a letterbox CLUE planted on her dog, Luna, last year at her May Day party. Very original. All the clues sdai was "query the dog". I kept thinking it would be a dog statue or someone named Dog. It was very cool...

Several boxers have micro boxes somewhere on their vehicles. You have to figure out their clues to get them.

That is so cool! I never would have imagined that.

See, this is what I love about this activity. You think up something that sounds kind of
crazy, and somebody actually finds a way to do it.

I immediately started to write about SpaceTraveler's letterbox when I
went back and read your reply and had to laugh. The best thing about
it was that she had two dogs and you had to figure out which one had
the correct clues. It was very creative.

How about the rest rooms in some of our parks? It must be little. There is
a box in New York City in a public telephone booth on a street corner.
That was cool: as well as the one off I 95 in New Haven, CT.
